San Francisco, CA, March 28, 2008 – Friday, March 28th was a special day in San Francisco, as Grammy Award Winning recording artist RIHANNA invited Variety Northern California to bring a few of our special kids to an exclusive performance at San Francisco's Ruby Skye. The event was a benefit for Rihanna's "Believe Foundation," which assists and inspires children in need all over the world. The kids enjoyed the show, "hung out" with the star and had a great night. Was Rihanna impressed with Variety and efforts to help kids in the Bay Area? Guess so – she gifted us with a $20,000 grant to help us continue our work ! Guess who'll ALWAYS be #1 on our list!
